Grenier and Subban look like they might be good, Grenier i think will be a solid 4th line grinder.

So....after five years as GM it's looks like Gillis left the Nucks with at least two decent players, Horvat and Markstrom; man I hope Benning is better at this
- LeftCoaster

We've consistently had above average goaltending, and the forwards are at least ok, but the defence... Man, the defence is so brutally bad and there's no reinforcements coming. You're not gonna sign one as a free agent and you're not going to trade for one without paying a premium, so it's going to be awhile before we even have anything on the horizon.

and gaunce too
- SMBDragon

Oh - I forgot about Hutton, that makes three players in total, two he drafted from the 37 times he selected. As for Gaunce, not until he makes and sticks in the NHL, but yes he looks decent as a bottom six guy.

I play with others perfectly fine....youre the only 1....guess what? Youre told the same by lots of members.... when are you gonna realize its time to stop acting the way you do?
- SMBDragon

Seems to me your the one with the axe to grind. I'm just trying to talk about the team

Yup...I forgot about him. Still, two players from 37 picks, not very good at all, actually pathetic.

Their defence is just atrocious and as you say, not much coming either

Not if he's not healthy, not if he's playing like he was before he went down, and not if he refuses to waive. Our problem is that all of the assets that we would concievably consider moving are playing bad hockey and have trade protection.

we dont have much in the way of drafted D men to replace these guys with though, so I wouldnt go depleting an already sucking D even further till at least some replacements are ready.

dont get me wrong, Im all for change, just dont want the D to suck even worse than current.

Not at all...

No bullfrog you seem to want to antagonize people here, not talking about the team.

Please, I wish you just would do just that. Peace would be nice

You found the elusive "compelled to accomplish things" weed. I thought it was just a myth.

Not a big fan of Yandle, without looking at the advanced stats he just reminds me of Edler with a different passport but softer.

Lucic would be nice IMO for the right price.

Morgan Rielly is a pipe-dream, it ain't happening.
