Even if he asked to be moved, he's still probably worth a mid to late round pick. I would rather that than take on two contracts. Even if it was Elliot and a 7th, that would be much preferred than Scott..

Maybe because they both passed through waivers was a plus as they can now call them up for depth and not risk loosing them was more of a plus for the playoff push than a 5th rounder??

To some degree. I don't think a lot of players would withstand a forearm to the upper chest while being stationary without the puck either though. That was a mind blowing hit on a player who wasn't looking, didn't have the puck, and wasn't prepared to take a shot.

WE are a small team even our tough guys arent big. This is what killed us in previous yaers. We need to start adding some big guys via the draft both up front and on D. That FLorida game would have been much better with Pedan on the ice and not in the press box but hey Yannick Weber was in there (frank)ing poop up

if montreal needed to clear cap space to allow the acquisition of these 2 then it makes sense to trade tinordi away for waiver clearing guys
