He hasn't been bad at all...but despite all the praises in front of this D he hasn't been as good as advertised either. Markstrom keeps games to 2GPG and we have a chance to win shows in the results. Miller is good for 3-4 GPG pretty much every game now regardless how our D plays in front of him. It's obvious now the D has more confidence in Markstrom...that much is apparent. Markstrom has basically caught or really has passed Miller on the depth chart. Cash difference between goalies aside JB knows he has to handle this somehow and it may mean keeping Miller as a 6mil backup next year... - LordHumungous

Chicago was down 2-0 in games against St L and Seabrook cheapshot Backes took him out of most of the series.
Kings constantly attack Sedins ( both) head knees. Very unethical as they raise the cups
Bolland use to slew foot and headshot the Canucks.
Bruins broke Raymond's back with a cheap play. Happens a lot more than you think |

While I agree those are and were cheap shots I think there is a huge difference between those plays and being eliminated and taking out the teams best player ...if the Kings were down 4-0 with a minute to go in a game 7 and started taking shots at the other teams all stars then I could see your point ... |

One of the biggest cheap shots in sports Bobby Clarke Summit series 1972. If he doesn't take out that ankle Canada loses. Very seldom ever hear about it but we always hear how Great Canada's resolve was. |

Seabrook took out the best player. The series was turned around on that play as they went on to raise the cup. |

Waaaay too much when I was back in Van for the holidays. Some withdrawal when I came back to New York -- thought it best to take a small timeout. - NewYorkNuck

Dirty play yes ....but you have to agree there is a huge difference in taking a player out while the game is still up for grabs and when it's over |

It was 24-0 with more than a half to go. Minutes later he made it 31-0 . If the next play after he was acting like an ass someone took him out of today's game it still might be 24-0 |

Agree. Don't need to send him to the hospital for the remainder of the PO's but a message for sure needs to be sent. |

Miller GAA 2.75 szp .910
Markstrom GAA 2.40 szp 9.22 - Pres.cup
I'm sorry but this is a really simplistic viewpoint on both of them. There's a lot of factors that play into their save percentages such as level of competition, Miller playing the Capitals and Markstrom playing the Hurricanes, over use of Miller early in the year etc.
They're both good goaltenders but I'll be happy when they phase-out the old and bring in the new...including Miller. |

The game could still be in reach then but I see it as way worse in a one and done football game compared to middle of an entire series |

I've been saying this all season, and I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Russel Wilson is just not that good. He played awful last week, and the o-line that has been making him look good is banged up. |
