So much for all that optimism about shaking up the blue line.

Fedun has just been reassigned back to Utica.

I think it's more a necessity of the team he inherited, rather than a tendency.

As he's tried to move out garbage for value, he's had to throw in some pot sweetners.

Edit: Might have to bite the bullet and add draft picks to rid ourselves of Burrows as well.

Good point…that's definitely a factor, but he can stop any time.

You guys are going to convert a 19 year old centre with a two-way game into a winger ?

I'd much rather see him spend a year in the AHL.

If everyone is healthy, this is what I would do if I were WD:

Dank-Hank-Sutter (hank HAS to stop taking FOs)
Baertschi-Horvat-Vrbata (chemistry)
Burrows- McCann- Hansen (SOLID 3rd line)
Dorsett- Vey- Etem (a tigers line)

Tanev- Edler
Hutton- Sbisa
Biega- Pedan

Depth/scratches = Prust, Cracknell, Cracknell, Weber, Bart, Fedun,

If JB hadn't brought in Vey, Baertschi & Etem, we'd still be playing Higgins, Richardson, & Matthias. Gillis left a huge hole of 23-24 yr old players because of all the draft picks he traded away for Roy or what ever else Gillis thought was worth a 2nd round pick.

Sending Fedun back will bring us close to 2 mil . We still need to move someone when Sutter is back . We will need to move about 1.4 mil. That's either Weber or Bart on Waivers

Good thing they don't run the team.

I thought he was ready to start coming back . That will buy a month. Trade Vrbata and problems solved

We do what we do with all of our problems. Trade them to the Ducks or let them loose so the Leafs can grab them

Anyone else hate that annoying Bruin goal horn they play in New England on EVERY 3rd down for the opposition?

sounds like a giant fart. whoever thought to use that horn every 3rd down should put down.

Or let the Leafs pick them up off waivers or UFA.

Pedan should be playing the NHL now. He is a little rough around the edges but he would be a much needed big body that can skate.
- thundachunk

I wouldn't be adverse to it but I worry about him fighting too much to try and impress. He definitely has the highest ceiling out of all our D and prospects. Great skater and tough as nails

I hope so as he is far to valuable to be injured or in the box all game. Problem is he loves fighting and has a short fuse
