I hope so as he is far to valuable to be injured or in the box all game. Problem is he loves fighting and has a short fuse - CanuckDon
I disagree with most of this. I don't know too many players who look forward to taking punches to the head and possibly doing long term damage.
Secondly I disagree that he is far too valuable. He can not even crack the roster yet and if he does , it will probably be as a bottom pairing.
The team currently has one of the worst D in the league and can easily be upgraded. They can be a stop gap as long as we are losing they blend in. It is time to start changing the pieces back there. |

Ideal scenario is trade Edler to LA for a first Forbort and Kempe.
This way we can sabotage one of our chief rivals watching AE forever firing pucks into the pads of opponents , or shooting to the crest of the goalie, that lovely drop pass, and the no fight rule.
Pillage their cupboards and laugh at them. |

He has stated he loves to fight in numerous interviews. You are seriously stating he can't crack our roster? You would prefer Bart and Weber over him? |

Might be a good idea to start developing McCann as a winger if we want to get him off the 4th line. He is too talented to be playing with those scrubs. - PetrolSexual
Ive wondered the same too. At least till he can get more schooling on faceoffs at this level.
Thats why Id go from the page 1 suggested Gaunce Mcann dorsett to mcann gaunce dorsett.
gaunce is older and much bigger, I recall him being decent on the dot when called up. |

I'm giving Benning until Mid-july before I make my final judgment. He has had good points and bad. I'm not ready to say he is useless. He has brought on change thats what we all wanted. - thundachunk
his trades have been decent and drafting excellent. Most GMS are a one trick pony so we should be grateful. Id like someone else to handle contracts for him instead though. |

You just get the feeling that Alex Smith is going to put this team on his shoulders and carry them. |

from practice and advice from vets....like sutter and henrik
working on it outside of games, like guys do during off seasons and come back better
But in game experience does matter as well, but with his record we cant afford to have him in center either |
