It's an automatic Game Misconduct for fighting after the period/game ends. It'll get looked at I'm sure, but other than the $25,000 fine nothing else is automatic. And given the severity of the fine and the circumstances of the fight I'd be surprised if there was a suspension.

I remember when Chara punched Gaustad after a game in the playoffs and there being talk of a possible suspension, but there not being one and us fans being mad over it.

As Panacea alluded to the Chara incident. The league rescinded the game misconduct and instigator penalty and he was allowed to play in the next game.

This isn't quite apples to apples with Bogo, but I see him getting hit with the fine, and since there was no aggressor or instigator I see just the fine, because, damn, for the NHL that's a BIG fine.

Go back a page, I posted the rule from the book. Rules 46.9 and 46.20 supersede the general game misconduct rule although he'll probably still get the lousy $200 yes $200 fine for the game misconduct. The other rules add to it.

I didn't realize Doan also pulled Risto's hair or maybe his ear at the end of it too.

Thankfully one of the guys I thought was going to win lost, so right now there are two of us at 13-2 with the other guy 352 points ahead of me, so I doubt I'll catch him in points, but I do play him in 2 weeks, so maybe...

this week I'm playing the winless team whom I have a 2611 point lead on, so it should be a pretty easy win.

Right now it's 89 to 45.

Had Risto and jack for the past 3 or 4 weeks. (great price being cheap) They weren't too productive last week.

Its not that hes slow or soft hes just not a very smart player and its noticeable. In tight games he is often the weakest link.
