Agreed. We either resign him, if it is reasonable and he wants to stay here with his buddy ROR and the young guns or you let him walk. He has chemistry right now, i don't want to trade him, have him play with another team, in another system and then expect him to come back and keep it going. All to often those deals do not work. Resign him or trade him and be done.

No one knows, everyone acts like he is already proven. He isn't, AT ALL. Stats are horrible on a very offensive team with talent. I don't understand why everyone is willing to sell the farm to get him. I keep girgs over trading him for Drouin. Ennis+ i take a shot because isn't part of this team going forward anyway.

He has played 89 NHL games, 4 goals..... If you are "Elite" you earn time. You make it happen. I pass, unless Ennis is the roster player we give up. Otherwise someone else can overpay and HOPE he works out.

skunk has worked on and developed a pretty good shot...has 12 goals and potted a hat trick ta boot

am thinking a 2nd...with the intent to sign him in the off season...plays hard, can score and has grit...

that said, if he's a piece that someone feels they need to get to the promised land, a low-first rounder is not out of the question

If we use guys like Gaustad/Vermette as the comp, he's worth a high 20's first IMO. While Vermette was worthless in the regular season last year (and was even a healthy scratch early in the POs) he was a pretty important piece in the WCF and SCF. His price was a first and Tanner's favorite bottom pair young dman Dahlbeck. Centers are generally worth more than wingers though, so who knows.
