Do you want him here?
- VANTEL

I'm not sure, in all honesty I'm a bit conflicted. I like the fieryness he's shown under Babcock this year, he's had a bit of a chip on his shoulder and he would be the #2 guy here not #1 which would help I think. I think were pretty good up the middle though... But I do love those corsi and possession numbers

Too skilled? Depending on the cost i'd be interested. However, I think they'd want too much.

Hmm interesting point. Can't imagine them not wanting at least McCann+ going back... if it means picks I'm not into it at all and I'm sure that's what Leafs would want.

I'd rather hold onto McCann and the draft picks.

If it was McCann and Gaunce, subban or Shink I'd be on board.

I feel that way too. The thing with me is I don't want to give the Leafs any of our assets unless it is a steal

Hey Carol, the arm is definitely in a sling. It doesn't bend once or show any part of his hand throughout the clip.

so looks like they still dont have to take action on the roster logjam up front for a couple weeks still.

Cant wait to watch Shawn Thornton to murder Matt Hendricks tonight.

Bo would be a no for me, you can't teach size and he's got the kind of size you need in the west to play 1 or 2C imo. McCann on the other hand, hard to forecast but I think Kadri both long and short term might be the better player.

Ya, and unfortunetly their management has been pretty saavy thus far IMO so I don't think that will happen... If only Lou didn't nix the previous deal

Short term he is, long term i'm not convinced. Also, we'll get an extra 5 years out of McCann if we hold onto him.

I like McCann, in general, I just like Bo more and I'm not convinced either can be a 1C. Bo I can for sure see as a 2C however. Is Kadri a number 1 in a few years? My gut says yes, actually. That being said, Kadri is also up for a new contract isn't he? So that creates a whole new scenario depending on what moves JB is able to pull off between now and the draft.

I think if you surround them with skilled guys they will meet your expectations. There will be hiccups but we will be ok.

He is younger, I can`t disagree there. I like Kadri right now though. I think one year of playing second string to Hanky and he could be very, very good. He`s never had a legit #1 to learn from (although it may be Sutter showing faceoffs )

I don't think Kadri will be an effective #1C. He's already 25 years old and his best season was during the shortened year when all the vets were slow to get back to playing shape.

really, I think is best all around year is happening right now. In fact, I would be surprised if the leafs deal him I think the only reason is they've got small guys in MArner/Nylander up the middle and need to mix it up. That being said, I'm not fully inot as I mentioned we need D and wingers more and I don't like having to resign him right off the bat.

Yeah, this is kinda why I hope they really are just out for D and picks (I think I've sung this song before!?) or just hold on otherwise with the young guys. But I think if McCann is bringing back Shattenkirk in a package, for example, I'm into that.

No I do definetly want Bo as the 2 guy, my worry is we don't have a 1 going forward.

edit: Bo is the future #2, and current, I don't think I see him as a #1 in the future. If we brought in Kadri he would bump to #3 for a year, yes.
