Good point about the PK ability. Don't we have Sutter, Bo, Vey and McCann up the middle? Cracknell is already redundant but Gaunce will improve in the A. I don't mind leaving he and Shink for this year. - neem55
Having Sedin, Sutter, BO and McCann I dont really see a spot for Vey long term because you wont want him on the 4th line or at least I wouldnt.
Playing Sutter with the twins worked. Then Bo and McCann in the 2 and 3 spots and Gaunce in the 4th.
Also it gives you having flexibility having guys who can play both center and wing. |

Vey is better suited to the wing and could still take a face-off if needed.

I'm not very confident playing Gaunce at center, has he even tried it in the A? Might as well stick with a guy that's got experience and let Gaunce mature. |

Also 90 percent of the people on this board were writing off Gaunce as a bust until this past camp. Now he's considered a viable player. I know Gaunce was a first rounder, so more was expected, but he was considered the next Libor Polasek on here. - bazz
that AND being a gillis pick |

Yup!
I'm fine with Vey playing wing, but Gaunce can't start his pro career at center after playing a year and a half at wing in Utica, come on now fellas.
Edit: I am down for him coming up and playing wing though, maybe McCann and dorsett. |

Im talking next season. Put vey with the twins up his trade value so we can try and get that 2nd back lol
Yes he is playing center now and has been for a while. Hes been centering shink and grenier mostly with vey up. Hes played center his hole life im not concerned. |

He would get us a 2nd anyway. No need to play him with them. |

WD like Vey at centre and Etem at wing. The creted more than a few chances and they won two in a row. I don't foresee a shakeup |

He was drafted as a winger and played wing in Junior, but if they are playing him at center in Utica then that's good. Sounds like this experiment just started though |

yeah, I agree. WD seems to like Vey at C, hasn't had him as a wing yet I don't think. I've liked the line myself, so I don't blame him. |

Too much? Wasn't sure if it was or not. 3 dudes having a good time, but I can see how some people might find it a tad bit offensive. |

No he wasnt. He was and always has been a center. The nucks tried him on the wing and he played well there. |

he's listed in the draft at LW, AhL.com as LW Hockey futures at LW... I know he's playing center for Utica right now, I rememeber whe nthey drafted him he said he played center in midget, but I assure you he played wing in Belleville and Erie. |
