Franson has to come out tonight, right? He can't take out McCabe. Weber has been nails lately and he shouldn't come out. I'd love to see Weber and Gorges on the bottom two. |

Has Franson been bad lately? I know the power play looks better, does he have enough influence on that to stay in? |

I think i'd take Franson out tonight strictly because I think the Avs speed could kill him |

It isn't so much that he has been bad (although I'm not a fan). Who else comes out? |

If anything it would have been more. We were doing them a favor because they were trying to unload his contract. - HonkFortheGoose
I hear rob ray say that legwand has been huge for eichel this year and they go out for meals together before every game. He mentioned that usually rookies usually just wait and be told what to do. Also mentioned this was one of the first times the vets include the younger guys in everything. I was crushed to see him in the trade but he's exceeded what i thought hed be and plays his role well |

I think that is one of the great things about how we are structured. We've got a few older vets that know what their roles are (help the kids) and enough younger vets to know that they need the kids to win in two years. We don't have any of the "win now" vets in their late 20's and early 30's. |

Legwand has been a pleasant surprise but as a previous poster mentioned, Murray said after the trade that he wasn't sure what he was going to do with Him.
Legwand is probably doing the best job with what he has left in the tank, being a defensively responsible 4th liner, which some playoff team will most likely want to pick yup at the deadline. He's playing for his last shot at playoff hockey and it's benefitting our team right now.
He was definitely included in the deal so Ottawa could dump salary. |

Borgen and Estephan were 4th and 6th round picks, IMO lottery tickets that look good right now
I did not put the ROR trade in the equation because IMO it's a good deal for both teams
we gave up a lot for kane and bogo
we gave up a lot for fasching
we gave up a lot for lehner & Legwand
it's ok to overpay if you hit realistic expectations, it's a set back if kane is a fringe second line player, bogo is a 4th d man, lehner is a platoon goalie, and fasching is an ahl player (or does not sign) - homiedclown

And so far Eichel and Rienhart have great things to say about him...
Positive role model for both. I don't think anyone is thinking about this at all.
People loved John "Fricken" Scott here because he was funny and great in the locker room but keep female doging about a guy that can play and has a great rapport with two of our future stars... (Not directed at you, seedy).
Edit: Late, yen6d1 already touched on this... |
