The griffiths screwed him over. I understand hatred towards him. The greatest player in franchise history demands a trade is going to sting a fan base.

galchenyuk will be a center and when he gets some wingers that aren't garbage he will be a legit 1C IMO. Why they put Plakanec on that line is a mystery.

he's turning 22 this year and has been playing center the entire year this year and has put up impressive points despite awful wingers. For sure he's not very good defensively yet, but he will get there.

You're straight off your rocker here, have a look at the sportsnet article I've posted earlier. They're playing him on the wing because they've lost so many games and are trying to mix things up. They did not play him with Pacioretty and Gallager for any length of time, it's been plakanec on that line all year-Hence there being an entire article about it on sportsnet.
