I think people need to look at it from the last 3 years and not the last 2 months, no matter how frustrating it's been
- obie

Well Bergy in the last 3 years added Petry and that's pretty much it. Everybody other move is of no impact. I'll give him credit for Weise also. I'm to expect he's going to bring in two top 6 guys before next spring?

I'm not too sure what to expect but this organization needs to take advantage of Price's good years, goalies like him don't come around too often

See, I have no problem with who he's brought in. He's done a good job with the moves he has made. Even the most questionable ones were intelligent risks to take. Where I'm not a fan is with the ridiculous extensions he's handed out to his own players making them much harder to trade than they should be.

He's done an ok-good when the team was doing alright. He's done a piss poor job in a crisis. Unless his evaluation his this team sucks whitout Price, I need a top 5 pick.

Which I would respect, he he did not try to feed us the bullpoop

It's very unlikely they end up with a top 5 pick

I see... he would be the prospect to add in a trade that could land a nice return, I just don't think Bergevin has any interest in moving him

you underestimate how much they suck without Price.

4 wins in their last 21 games.....just do that again and you get a top 5 pick most likely

Seriously, everybody is crying for the big trade, but there is no quick fixing this.

At this point, I'd rather see Bergevin stay put and unload what he can at the deadline.

This team wasn't built to be off loading at the deadline this year so they really have nothing to sell

Who's a big name they can throw some coin at this summer?

I know they're pros and want to win, and will do everything they can to make the playoffs, but as an organisation, they should really give up on this season and tank the rest of the way. though luck for this year, less profits, but better for the long run.

There's the obvious Stamkos but he'll most likely be heading to Toronto and with lots of teams trying to make a play for him, Staal and Buff, it might be a good year to scoop up a Ladd or Backes

I hope Stamkos comes to Toronto. But I've been down this road before by secretly hoping and being heartbroken. Then again, after it was all said and done the player that I coveted turned out for the worse.

There's a couple good players for sure. Just checked out the list of the bigger names. You think the Habs look at Buff?

I hope not...with all the FA forwards this year and Montreal's obvious need for scoring punch I would hope Bergevin focuses on landing a forward and not another expensive defenseman
