Even if it is fake, he's on his own now. One way or another he brought this upon himself through reputation. |

There's also a reason he's had a hard time getting a spot on the NHL roster. Could be that the talent doesn't quite translate to the NHL game. He wouldn't be the first, nor will he be the last. - HonkFortheGoose
Lets take this back a little. He produced a 30 assist season already. Its not like he has failed to score at this level. |

Absolutely. There's clearly a giant personality flaw. And I think a big part of it has to do with the fact that his father raised him to think he's entitled to whatever he wants. |

I'm mostly just playing devil's advocate. I think he can be plenty successful at the NHL level. But there has to be something that we don't know about as well in all of this. That's all. |

It is funny to me how some in our fan base fall in love and covet other teams prospects. Can't have all of them folks . And certainly not willing to overpay like some for them. He is a good player. If it what Tim Murray envisions in what he is putting together. I will leave it to the folks that are paid by Mr Pegula to decide. I just don't want to overpay and empty the cupboards. |

Same way I feel . And I don't want to over pay . And that seems what Yzerman is looking for.

There is this. The published schedule had the Blackhawks in LA on November 29, 2014. It was a Saturday - so some of the details are off - she says "I had to work in the morning and its a Sunday."
Also, other people in that thread claim to have found reports that the Hawks flew back to Chicago right after the game. I couldn't find those, but I did see that it was the last game of a six game roady. You could imagine that the team would be ready to head back to Chicago.
I don't note either of these to suggest anything except "Its the internet." |

Still could end up in a frivolous lawsuit where he will have to prove it did not happen. And some LA Lawyer will fleece him good!

I do have some reservations since it is on the internet, it is anonymous, and nothing was filed. I know he has history and I won't sit here and defend him or say it didn't happen, I'm just saying an imagur post won't be the nail in the coffin.
That said, I don't want Kane on my team and wouldn't want him around anyone I know. |

I was wondering if someone bothered to look at the schedule and try to connect the dots. It would be pretty easy to debunk this with the schedule and team flights. |

I was all over him for the crap this summer, and as far as I know the alleged victim never rescinded her story that it happened...so I don't feel any differently about that...but I agree that this story seems too awkwardly timed. Why wouldn't someone come out with it around the time he was in the news rather than months later. |

I mean, victims can take a long time to want to come out which is understandable, but it is odd that it happened now. There's so much going on with this from different angles, all I know for sure is I'm glad he isn't on my team. Even if it's fake I just don't want that attention. |

Who's in love? He's a former 3 overall pick with elite talent.
If GMTM said he liked him you would have bashed that poster from Syracuse and asked him if he was a scout or general manager or something. |

Definitely, I don't mean to sound dismissive of things taking time to come out, but reading what was written makes me skeptical.
Things about (paraphrasing) "he's showing up on my feed for making the all star game" seems odd since he's been in very public news for much bigger reasons earlier this year. |

9 goals in 89 games with pp time. Yup hes failed to score. he got helpers on a high scoring team. Most people call them Padded stats. Ive never been big on him. People gushed over him dangling scrubs in juniors, doing things that wont work in nhl or even ahl hockey but outside of the hot dogging hes got some real talent. girgs for drouin is fair for what were looking for (top end scoring potential) and gives us versatility come future trades (ennis) and the draft. |

Don't put words in my mouth . I want all the information possible and draw my own conclusions after reviewing everything . That is how folks that run successful businesses operate. I assume Tim Murray does the same from listening to him speak .
Because he was a number three pick at some point even being a great player does not mean our GM sees him fitting in what we are doing. And at this point I also don't want to see him overpay for him . You can't have everything and every player you want . Welcome to the real world |

It would be as simple as. "Kane, Do you have proof that you left LA with the team after the game?"
Yes - lawsuit over
No - Oh SH***** |

You can counter with he's also been on the 4th line some of those games. I'd trade for him. |

Reinhart - .375 PPG
Drouin - .45 ppg
Has Reinhart also failed to score at this level? |

Reinhart has more goals in less games. Sorry my stats were off. Drouin 6 goals in 89 games. Reinhart has 12 in about 30 less games. |
