I give Murray a lot of credit if Larkin was the guy he was trying to get. Or Fabbri - sbroads24
Pretty sure it was Larkin. Tried a second time when he was moving myers |

Lehner with a .955%... if you don't win with that, you're not scoring poop. - TheSabresTaco

No compete tonight - they mailed it in and left lehner out to dry. Pathetic effort, only one who seemed to be trying was Kane. No excuses for this lack of effort |

Saw the goal Larking scored .. Lehner looked a bit upset. |

Lehner and the 3rd line are the only positives from these last couple games. |

What happened to the 30-40 shots a night from a couple weeks back. That should be the average. |

Not sure how anyone could think that. If Lehner continues this trend, he's gonna shut a ton of people up.

Lets see him be consistent. I think mostly everyone knew he was talented. Im rooting for him because i want the sabres to succeed. The problem with the trade was you can aquire adequate to solid goaltending almost anywhere, he needs to be better than that (which he has in this very small sample) in order to get in everyones good graces. |

I hope he does, he is a big dude and seems pretty fundamentally sound. He should ask ullmark how he coped with pathetic goal support. |

I like that he gets pissed off when he allows a goal that he probably should've had. Instead of that weird thing Miller did where he acted like a turtle. |

I hate to be that guy, but this is the exact reason why I hated throwing around so many picks/prospects in one year.
Joel Armia is all of the sudden playing very well,

Where did I say Armia will "shut people up"
I said he's playing well right now. So is Lehner.
I also said it's Obvious that Armia needs to play more to be considered a decent NHL'er.
Nice cherry picking though |

Completely lost on your first sentence...don't see those words anywhere...
I'm amused by your contradiction:
Lehner is only on a small sample size of extremely good play, but let's temper any expectations that the GM had good reason to trade for him.
Meanwhile, Armia is hot - 2 points in 2 games - but that prior trade you hate may now prevent the team from making a trade that you would sanction. |

Not really a contradiction when I've had the same opinion on that trade since day 1.
And I couldn't care less how well Lehner does. I watched Lindback, Nuevirth and Enroth all play extremely well last year. Trading a 1st for a goalie is dumb. |

The Lehner trade isn't the problem. A bigger concern is they can't score a freaken goal. |
