My roommate is in Nashville on business and the last time I talked to him his plane had been delayed for 6 hours and it didn't look promising because he's coming home through LaGuardia and they already have a ton of canceled flights.

A note on the Drouin stuff - apparently he was 2 games from accruing credit for an NHL season when he was sent down. Another jab some people say the Lightning took at him, basically maintaining an "extra" year of RFA status to him.

I don't know the extent of his back surgery last year but he claimed he was 100% at camp. I do understand your thinking here. I don't think he'll get more than 3.5 per on a new contract and I would do 4 years.

Terrible shift by the O'Reilly line.

This is up there with watching a New Jersey game for me... only difference is Detroit has skill players but they play so tight defensively (so much so that they should have at least three interference calls on them) but they play so tight that it makes the game incredibly boring because Buffalo plays a possum style of play which just gives Detroit the puck the whole time and creates incredibly frustrating and boring hockey in our zone for three mins at a time.

Was there an event at F'nC last night? The ice looks really slow, the puck looks like it's stuck to the ice, Datsyuk fanned on one and the puck just stopped on Kane coming down the wing.

I think that has a lot to do with how much we're leaning on the Bogo-Risto pair. But I do agree Pysyk should be getting more minutes.
