If you ever got stammer then McCann becomes your 3 or 4 C thus you trade him or Bo for a D man - Redmile247
Yes of course....it wasnt the point of that post though... |
|
|

Probably both for two years. - VANTEL
I doubt stamkos goes anywhere to play wing tho ...isn't that part of the issue in Tampa ? |

Hank has been struggling in the face off. I could see someone else taking over. |

The post was the best D man available under 25. No #1 Dman is 25 or less. So it looks like he means best rated that we can aquire - SMBDragon
Yup thats what I meant. McCann and Shink I dont care I just want a top D prospect coming back. If we get someone who is a couple years older he should be able to jump in next year and help kinda the way hutton has this season. |

Your best course for getting a cornerstone/#1/2 Dman.
You can't draft one that will step in right away, so you either sign one or try to trade for one...the big question is: will Mcann/Horvat, whoever get you a #1/2 dman? My money's on 'no' though others disagree. |

Pecking order without Stamkos right now.
Hank
Bo
Sutter
Vey
McCann l
Zalewski
If Stamkos is added everyone bumps down a line - VANTEL
Id toss sutter back with the twins. But yes exactly how i have it today. |

I agreed you have to trade one of them ...not sure why it was questioned tho |

Unless Stamkos goes to the wing, or Sutter. - A_SteamingLombardi
Sedin-Sutter-Sedin, hank should not take face offs anymore
Sven-Stam/Bo-Stam/Bo
Etem/McCann/Vey
JV-Zalewski-Dorsett
Not a bad lineup for next season. |

Im keeping Bo over McCann. I see him as the next Linden in Vancouver as the fan fav. They will probably have similar type careers though. |

Lindens legacy was def worth it all. No cup run without him.
BUt he stands here today as our president as a shining example to players about work ethic and being that clutch player that carries the team.
NO SKILL can ever replace that
Linden was a slam dunk fit here. - SMBDragon
Agree Linden was the choice. No cup final team in 94 without him and if Garys refs would have given us a fair shake in gm 7...what could have been. |

Tyson Barrie? - PetrolSexual
Ya Barrie, Bigras, Bowey etc. Someone who can play next season with top end potential. Colorado may not be the best bet due the fact that they dont have much going on for defensemen. Anahiem would make the most sense as trade partner as they lack scoring forwards have lots of good young defensemen. The Caps perhaps. |

Barrie is too small to ever be a true #1 Imo, would like to see him in the lineup still, excellent PP QB |

Ya Id prefer an all situations type myself who is bigger. We have Subban coming in a couple years who could fill that PP QB roll. |

This is just fantasy talk but.... If I we had Stamkos I would trade the twins hopefully to Fla for Gudbrandson Crouse and their first. Take our first and FLA first and try to move up to get Laine. I would also pick up Willie Mitchell 2 years 3.25 each
Etem Stamkos Hansen
Sven Bo Laine
Crouse Sutter JV
Gaunce JM Dorsett
Vey
Edler Tanev
Willie Gudbranson
Hutton Biega
Sbisa Pedan
Markstrom

Gudbranson and Crouse both play on my team any day. We need to add more guys that play a heavy game. The only one we have is JV and he isnt big and hes 19. But I would like the team to start moving in that direction in the draft unless your passing up on way to much skill.

They had an awful first month ...haven't been too bad since ...until the last week ...starting to struggle again tho ...I'm not sure if they have had a goalie steal them a win yet either |
