Yea i like to imagine what he will be like in another year or two. If he gets hot he will hit 60 pts this year.
Girgensons can get to the spots on the ice eichel wants him in - ieetbred
You think. Gus will hit 60pts? If he gets hot or am I misunderstanding you
I think the only player that will hit 60+ is ROR or maybe jack |

Girgs - Eichel - Paajarvi/Laine
Kane - ROR- Reinhart - Herzeleid
I posted something similar earlier
With a 3rd line (of the future) of
Foligno-Larsson-Ennis
Plus we've got some prospects with top9 (or better) potential
Or if we sign a guy or 2 then u could knock down Foligno &/or Larsson
Our forwards look to be in pretty good shape IMO |

We'll see
I like all those guys ok, but if we're getting someone better I won't be upset
There's a salary cap to think about though
We can't have 10 guys making 5mil + a year |

They're on the right track, it's just a little more uphill than a lot would've liked to believe before the season started. There are flashes of outstanding play, sometimes it's for entire games, sometimes it's just for a few minutes like tonight when it looked like we had the Rangers on their heels after those 2 quick goals. Then queue a mistake or two, thrown in a horribly unlucky bounce and they're down by 2 again.
This team needs to learn how to win. Plain and simple. You can't keep tanking and expect to just turn it on once they get good players. Exhibit A: the Edmonton Oilers. How many times have we heard "they just need one more guy"? |

But we have to be honest the three players you listed are under achieving you see good teams let those players go and they recycle like the Blackhawks they get rid of all their bottom forwards and then bring new ones in |

I honestly think that if the Oilers were in the east they be in the playoffs already.
But you're right maybe this one last player will make them going over the top lol

If the Hawks could've afforded to keep guys like Ladd, Byfuglien, Sharp, Saad, etc then they would have...
And like I said, if we trade (for example) Larsson + for something better, then great
But that will prob come with a price tag, & that means we may have to move someone else
What I think you're talking about more would be down the road having to choose not to re-sign some of these guys...
We aren't gonna be near that point for a few years still
We've got Cap room
And it's a good thing too, bc guys like Bailey, Fasching, etc still need more developing before they'll be ready to fill a role for us |

Yea i meant eichel.
After scoring 4 points in the first 12 games he has had 28 in the next 37. And in his last 16 games he has 18 points. His production has continued to climb throughout the season.
If he keeps playing this way we could see 65+ |

What I'm basically saying is that good teams recycle their players they have players ready to step up for the next role
Marcus just aggravates me to no end he has that Drew Stafford syndrome I have no idea what happened to the first Marcus Foligno we saw it's like he's just coasting on his name now

Oh I definitely agree I think he's breaking out of his shell
I'm guaranteeing you right now after the all-star break he will be refueled at energized and go on a massive scoring streak |

That's fair
But we have lots of guys that are struggling o figure out what their role is gonna be with all these new players & a new coach
We're trying to develop a team
That takes time
Some of these guys that are struggling are still good players (Ennis, Kane)
Others prob won't be around too much longer
We'll have to see what Murray thinks

Nice post breaking down his change in production.
I hadn't realized he'd been doing so well recently. Good to see the steady climb in production.
Breaking it down by your post:
4 in first 12
10 in next 21
18 in next (most recent) 16 |

Tyrod pro bowl. What a scrub - Fattony1187
While I don't think he's a scrub, didn't like 3 QBs drop out? Out of 16 teams, that means (if my number was correct), he was the 6th to be asked. Even that seems high to me since he only ranked in the top 7 or 8 in the AFC in I think 2 key stats - INT and rating. |

yeah when play is not going his way he doesnt step up and find a way to initiate something other than a fight. Ill give kaleta credit, that even though he made no difference on the scoreboard ,just about every night, he always did find a way to not be invisible. |

It's out of 32 teams. Only in Buffalo will our fans complain about a QB on our team making it.

Let's just all be happy a Bills QB is in the pro bowl, regardless of conditions. |

I have some very terrible stats for you if you want them?
Basically Tyrod was really bad, but his stats are misleading.
And he got worse as the season went on. |
