Basically Tyrod was really bad, but his stats are misleading.
And he got worse as the season went on.

Again, I like the guy, I'm ok with him being the Bills QB and seeing if he can be good for the team (this season the QB play wasn't why they were bad)...but to think he is true pro bowl quality is a bit of a reach.

Maybe Bylsma is working on Kane's game? On WGR this morning, he mentioned about a couple of plays in which they hurt themselves...I.e. "We have possession on the offensive side of the red line and cause a turnover and it comes back into our end for extended time." It wasn't word for word quote, but I believe it was 90+% accurate.
If he can get Kane to shoot in to an area with purpose, rather than ripping a snap shot off the boards and out...well, he might have something there.
Let's hope he is drilling that in.

That said, I only watched about a period across the 1st and 2nd...Kane was hustling rather well. Just needs to be a bit more intelligent when he has the puck on his stick.

I'm listening to Bylsma on GR55 while driving my daughter to school this morning.
The guy sounds dead, seriously.
No inflection whatsoever in his voice, as monotone as monotone gets.
Listening to him brought me back to this guy and that's not good.

If Lehner and the Sabres do not do well in Ottawa tonight does Robin go full "Rask" on the ice tonight?

So, putting on my Scout hat, after watching those two videos of Rask....
" Clearly Rask has that "fire in his belly" ... Show casing an extremely high compete level that will positively influence his teammates, if they manage to stay out of his way when he throws his hockey stick or acts like Paul Bunyon with it"

The Bills were credited with teh 3rd fewest drops and the 3 best Drop % in the NFL.

16 Drops last year.

I wouldn't mind Lehner going off like that when a forward or Dman makes a glaring mistake, lol! That would hit home more that Disco Dan droning on and on about the mistakes.
It would add an exciting element to the game for the viewers.

That's awesome. For some reason I thought he was doing a bit poorly lately, but glad to see I was wrong (not that I'd criticize him, it's year 1).

October is surprising though, since I agreed with Goose and others who said they thought he'd come in to the league a bit more prepared after playing against older guys in college compared to those who go to Juniors.

Definitely enjoying the ride though.
