Tell him you are sick of listening to me continue to bring it up, despite no evidence suggesting it's even a remote possibility.

- Pete V

He's gonna come back, AV will scratch Miller to put him in the lineup, he will be terrible, and AV will continue to play him because he's a veteran. Miller demands a trade.

We will all riot to bury AV 6 feet under.

That's how it's gonna go. Thanks Pete.

So you would let Yandle walk for nothing even if they know they can't re-sign him once he becomes a UFA?

I guess you would have to believe that Yandle in the playoffs is the piece that would help get a cup, and without him there is no chance.

With what we gave up for Yandle only a year ago and getting nothing if we let him walk is not OK with me, he's not the missing piece, get a 1st or a top 6 winger for him

I have to say, I don't disagree with a word he said. I think the Shaw possibility is nice, but very unlikely. And, as Pete so eloquently explained earlier, might not be the best option. I wish the odd man out could be Mr. Boyle. I don't think he's as bad as everyone has made him out to be, but I'd just rather hold onto Yandle and let him walk and trade Boyle away and receive a jam-type player in his return. I know we need a scoring threat, but we have one who hasn't been one in Big Richard Rick. I think he'll find his game after this nice long break and hopefully start potting a few.

One thing that has never been mentioned is the emergence of McIlrath's shot. Man oh man does he have a bomb. PUT HIM ON THE PP and see what happens!

I'd hope the Rangers could do better than Shaw for Yandle . They have about six Shaw's already

Glass is about the closest thing we have to Shaw. I would prefer to get someone with more offensive upside than Shaw if possible though.

I actually agree with that. He's a very good player, but he has offensive limitations and he will likely command about $4 million a year. Might as well have just kept Hagelin.

Agreed, he's a good player for the Hawks because he fills that spot, I'd be shooting for the moon with Tuevo but I'd like a 1st rounder in whatever deal we get

that's just silly

I think Shaw is like a younger version of Dominic Moore actually
