I like good, edgy discourse as much as the next guy/gal, but that was just lazy. And dumb.

I highly doubt the goal is to come in last. I think after the all star break teams like Toronto, Carolina, Edmonton and Winnipeg will come back down to earth so to speak. By the end of the year the Sabres will start to find there gel and look forward to a bright year next year. I could care less where we finish. There's talent all in the top half of the draft and with the incredibly stupid and frankly insane top three lotto this year I'd rather be pleasantly surprised with a higher pick than likely disappointing when and if we did come in the bottom one or two and end up picking 5th or 6th...
- bluengold12

It might not be as obvious as it was last year, but Murray is not the type of guy that sits on his hands and do nothing to improve his team. Yet, he's been completely silent for a long time now when he could have done something, anything, to give a spark to this team. A move doesn't have to be a blockbuster, but no moves at all I think speaks volumes for a guy who has no problems pulling the trigger. Tank on.

I really don't care if they finish in 17th. They need to learn how to win sooner or later without having the team selling players out from under them undermining them at every turn. I get why we did it the past two years. I wasn't a huge fan, but there was an objective and I hand it to Murray who then went out and made it happen. But with the new lottery rules it will just do more long term harm than good. Would it be nice to get a top 3 or 5 pick? Absolutely when wouldn't it be? But just the same I'd rather have tangible improvement.

Bylsma should have explicit direction to never challenge a goal with more than 10mins left in the 3rd period.

What a (frank)ing waste

Hard to gauge these guys this year...the lines have been all over the place...I think Murray is doing the right thing...give it Lenny of time for Bylsma to right the ship before he pulls a trigger he may not want to, or will regret latter. I'm usually all for some tweaking along the way, but when a team has gone through this much turnover already, it begs for a period to really evaluate what one has.

He will pull the triggers at the deadlnje if he can find a dance partner or two.

You have tangible improvement in the form of several new players who are much better than what was here.
We just don't have enough yet,and unfortunately it takes time, another offseason of work to realize the next step. Colorado, went from last to a playoff team for one year, how is that working.

Spirited scrap there. That last slash by bogo had to hurt. Right in the sweet spot on the back of the knee.

Bylsma needs someone to dress him. He constantly looks like through up,with his selection of color combinations.
This guy is mister boring.

for an enforcer bogo is a pretty useful dman. Its not anout the fighting but he has made it a thing the last few games that opponents have to earn our net
