Hi everyone . Been busy running my company . Did some back reading . Glad I was . To much whining . Would of , could of , should ofs , I really think this team will take another step after the all star break . Not many UFA's to even trade. All those teams cellar dwelling with us will be selling big time especially the Loafs. I still like what I am seeing even out of Kane . All the potential is there . If we get any puck . I think the next step is after the all star break.

And Murray should not make a move for the sake of making a move. I want well thought out moves.

I was suggesting that Murray is okay with us being a point out of last place in the league. If, he wasn't than he would have made a move by now, he's not Darcy.

I feel like no one could have predicted the Ennis "thing"….what ever it is. Some people didn't like the Moulson contract, but I would never had thought he would have had this bad of a year. Reinhart is out, our "starting" goalie missed 40-something games. Not quite sure if Kane is delivering as expected, Gionta? Other various players have been in and out with injuries.
I think over the summer, this team looked better on paper than it panned out to be and none of it was predictable.
I would have to imagine Murray would pull off a fade if he liked the offer. I just assume he's not trading anyone he likes and anyone he doesn't like, no other team likes either.

Gaining 20 more points from one season to another is great and all, but unfortunately, point production increases is not the deciding factor in playoff berths or cups. There are other NHL teams that are competing as well and the Sabres need to beat those teams.

The new playoff format makes it harder to make the playoffs, IMO.

Tampa is better than Buffalo. So is Florida and Detroit. I actually think Toronto is at the same point in their rebuild as the Sabres.

This team is far away from any kind of success in the standings against other teams. And the wild card will be difficult for them to gain in the next few seasons as well.
