It's about time we got some bounces to go our way. Kane and Eichel's second goal do not consistently happen for this team, nor does the way the game ended. It's refreshing.

Gaining 20 more points from one season to another is great and all, but unfortunately, point production increases is not the deciding factor in playoff berths or cups. There are other NHL teams that are competing as well and the Sabres need to beat those teams.

The new playoff format makes it harder to make the playoffs, IMO.

Tampa is better than Buffalo. So is Florida and Detroit. I actually think Toronto is at the same point in their rebuild as the Sabres.

This team is far away from any kind of success in the standings against other teams. And the wild card will be difficult for them to gain in the next few seasons as well.

I've hated the re-alignment from when it was announced. It's so stupid to play some teams in your division 5 times and others 4 times which is the same amount you play the other teams in your conference. Just plain dumb. I don't need to play Calgary twice a year.

To be fair, Lehner has shut them up himself with his play, but just wait until he has a poor outing.
It was starting tonight when 2 goals on 13 shots were given up. Some are just ready to pounce.
On the other side, while he has looked good so far, like Cabbie said...need many more games of the same to put it to bed!
