Yeah, you're in that mid-series funk where every episode makes you want to throw poop and yell at how ridiculous everything is and how obvious it all seems. It was such a frustrating string of episodes right in the middle.

Watching that show was like climbing a mountain in a blizzard. I muscled through it and I hate myself for every second that I spent on it.

Only Weber can have a pretty solid game, even save a game tying open net goal, and still almost cost us the game with a penalty. He's a special talent.

Best thing about the game last night is Eichel. Kid might not be McDavid who is going to go through 2 defenders for highlight reel goals. He isn't Crosby or Ovechkin or Stamkos. Eichel does things that others would have a hard time doing, such as that first goal with a guy leaning on him and wrapping it while still going at a high speed.

The best part is he's going to get even better hopefully. 2 assists against the Rangers, 2 goals against the Senators, 2nd in rookie goals, 2nd in rookie points and doing it while playing for Buffalo and not on O'Reilly's line. He's taken away some of the sting of the last few years and this year as well.

I think that part right there is pretty key. He's not exactly been paired with amazing players, yet he's still doing quite well.

62nd in the entire league in points, and he was only on the ice with O'Reilly for 11 of his 34 points

The issue with Weber isn't his ability. It's between his ears. He simply isn't a smart hockey player. When you put him in a position where he doesn't have to think, he's okay. If he has to make a decision, it's usually the wrong one.
