She is already making plans for an Aruba cruise for next January.
- cabin

I've been there also, I think I was in my mid or upper 30's so it was quite some time ago.
Anyway, even the few that crack concrete jokes at my expense here may find this amusing.
I come home one day from work, it's late July, been busting a nut as usual at work out in the heat and I announce to my wife and children that I have had it !
Looked at my wife and said, "start packing, we are getting the bleep out of here for a week or two, don't care where".
Away from the pressures of my job, away from the pressures of raising 6 children, it was time, it was well deserved.
So I call the owner of the company and tell him this and I say " Eddie, I don't care if it's July, I just know that I need to get away for a bit".
He totally understood. As a matter of fact, he lined me up with his travel agent and paid for my wife and I (all inclusive) to Aruba for 5 days and 4 nights.
So, we get there. I walk out of that airport and I feel like I walked into a wall, that's how hot it was.
We climb aboard our little tour bus (all smiles, ready to relax) that is going to take us away from the airport and to our hotel (Allegro back at that time), and guess what happens?
We get to the very first stoplight after leaving the airport and what pulls up directly next to us at that light?
A mother loving bleeping concrete truck.
My wife is bent in half laughing hysterically and all I could do was grin while thinking to myself...."there is probably one bleeping concrete truck on this entire island, and of course it finds me at the very first stoplight.
True story.
But anyway, Aruba was great.
Thank God for the Tradewinds, I'm as dark as dark can get (the Italian side of me) , I always am even through the winter, but that Aruba sun burnt me on top of a dark tan.
There was a club named Club 2000 back then which was cool .
The people there were quite charming. Cool eating your meals with iguana not even 5 feet from ya. Cruise ships come in at night and look absolutely incredible all lit up!
Bartender at the pool side bar at our hotel (The Allegro), "Enrique". We hit it off really well.
I ended up leaving Aruba with a drink partially named after me at that pool side bar called the "Dave/Enrique".
We did some experimenting with liquor combinations while my wife and I got were getting poopfaced at his bar.
All in all , a great time.
I am looking to go back sometime soon here again as well.
I rambled ....sorry, but dat' concrete truck....you just can't make defecation like this up.
Ha!

I liked Schaller's game here. Getting all the shorthanded chances and such aren't a coincidence. We need more of that.

He's been a nice addition. He's got some speed and an eye for the puck.

That is true. But if he's going to start ranting, get the facts right. They're hardly a budget team. They have 6 mil in cap space and a lot of high quality upcoming contracts to sign this offseason. They'll get signed. The ownership might be bush league, but at least it's spending close to the cap.
- TheSabresTaco

If memory serves me they are not willing to spend to the cap. Sure, they are close to the current cap (which is pretty low). I don't think there is any doubt that they are hurting their team with their budget limitations.

A concept people don't grasp around here. Your bottom lines need to solid contributors who execute their role well. Really happy Foligno is finding that role. He's becoming the guy I could picture helping on a deep playoff run.

Only Weber can have a pretty solid game, even save a game tying open net goal, and still almost cost us the game with a penalty. He's a special talent.
- Zschalberg

In Weber's defense that penalty was bad . The guy was holding his stick

My thing is they need to be good with being the bottom pairing guys and embrace that role. Foligno can be a 4th liner. I'm fine with that. But he needs to play solid defense and keep hitting like he has the last 5 games. I also need my 4th line creating opportunities and keeping momentum going. If they do that, I'm happy. I'd like 5-10 goals from everyone on my 4th line.

True, but it's still a penalty. Gotta be responsible for your own stick. Don't put it under his arm where he can grab it and draw the penalty. Keep it on the ice where it belongs.

And Weber was still out there with 30 seconds left. If I'm Bylsma I don't put him out there in that situation just because he's done that many times.

Yea, I wasn't a fan of that call on him at that point in the game.

Question is did you help them pour the concrete? Show them what the best concrete pourer in the US is all about?

Be honest, that is really the reason why you got the drink named after you!

Ha!
That's a big heck noooo COHO, even though I will admit I was tempted to watch their method there in that type of heat, ha!
Any way, lots of excellent concrete people here in western NY.
The drink was all because back then they didn't have your flavored alcohols the way they do today, not as many anyway.
Hint, it had to do with this type of concoction that I still drink to this day as my preferred alcohol of choice.

I think people get it. I think the issue is that we had a team full of 4th liners masquerading has 2nd liners.
