Could you imagine what Edmonton would be capable of if they had a real goalie? No thanks, I'm glad Schneider is in NJ - 1970vintage
I'm with you.
Nucks struggle against solid goalies.
Glad we traded our 2 vezina capable goalies out of conference
Hard to say with a straight face, but, no sense crying over spilt milk.

I wouldnt mind those lines after trade deadline
Drouin would make it work in Vancity the way Baertschi has... earn his minutes and show every1 he isn't a petulant child the way the former organization made him out to be...
He's the future #1 left winger for Vancity and the price is only dropping for this guy. We got Baertschi a top 6 winger for a 2nd... we could end up with a future #1 line player for something similar...
if lightning need a dman, i'd hand them any one of sbisa, hutton, or hammer, prust and a 7th rounder... |

if there's one thing i hold against MG it's his stupidity in not trading Schneider at the trade deadline in 2012 so we load up for a second run at the cup with some solid young players... tampa was willing to give up something serious for Schneider at the time... oh well... what might have been. |

Friedman's 30 for 30.
http://www.sportsnet.ca/h...ew-khl-development-model/
" This doesn’t have anything to do with Drouin/Walsh, as their relationship is strong, but, out of curiosity, I asked around in the past couple of weeks about situations where an agent and client don’t see eye-to-eye. I was told that, in the last couple of seasons, a player and his father told an agent to go to a team and demand more playing time. That idea was rejected. The agent was fired. (Before you ask, the source wasn’t giving up the names.)"

Just caught the hilites. Looked like we played a decent game but the patented bad change and the trademark Miller Cherry in the third..you had to know it was coming.
#tanknation back on baby. Top 5 pick is looking better and better.

I am so sick and tired of seeing Edler on the PP. I hate that (frank)ing drop pass and none of his shots ever get through. I would not shed a single tear if he were traded.
IMHO, he is vastly overrated. - PetrolSexual

I wouldn't be against seeing Hamhuis back for a couple years but not at the expense of another dman's development. Trading and resigning sounds like a win win if a younger and better ufa dman isn't available.
Is this what we are looking at next season?
Edler Tanev
Hutton Sbisa
Biega
Pedan, Fedun, Sautner
Tryamkin?
Don't want both Weber and Bartkowski back, maybe Bart...
We are going to have injuries and need some depth. - hillbillydeluxe
Pitt is linked to Hamhuis. Looks like T.O. gets their 1st rd pick this year tho. I believe its lottery protected. So perhaps the Nucks could get Pouliot + 2nd or 3rd. You never know. Teams will always overpay at deadline. Especially for a dman.

The 9th overall pick was more than fair value for Schneider at the time. Goalies generally don't fetch that much on the open market, and Gillis was not dealing from strength as everyone and their dog knew he had to trade one.
Bo's 20 years old. Let's revisit this in 7-8 years. |

Exactly. Schneider has had much more time to develop than Bo. As much as Schneider may be a Vezina candidate there will be a day where Bo is a Selke candidate. We did just fine in that trade and like you said more than fair value for the time. Technically Schneider was still a backup then. |
