we dont have the enough talent to start addving vets at this point. All you do by adding now is making us toronto by thinking you are better than you are, if you want 10-15 years of fighting for a playoff spot start adding ufas this year. if you want to compete for the cup you take your few years and build through the draft and when the time is right you add the piece or two that you are missing. Look at what florida has done that is how you build a winner.

Edmonton had no leadership we have tanev, hansen, edler and the two best hockey players to ever play for the franchise. Totally different scenario. You cant tell me that edmonton isnt on the verge of having a crazy good team. They also dont have a single prospect on the team drafted after the first round not even close to the same thing.

I have a really hard time calling the Panthers a rebuild success story. 1 playoff appearance since 2000. If the Canucks did that a bunch of the posters here might be dead before we witnessed a playoff series victory.
