Del Zotto has never been a very good PP point man, but some of the plays that Manning made on that were just really poor.

RJ is skating like Hakstol told him he's going to flush his pet goldfish down the drain if he doesn't do well. He has some zip, to his credit. He has 5 min ice time. If he were with VDHakstol and PEB, getting his 8-10 min ice time, fine. I still don't get why Laughton has to be married to him. Play Umby on the 4th line with the proper 4th liners.

He dumps it in every damn time. Pet peeve of mine in the pp. He also has never met a poopty shot he has passed up. Just very low hockey IQ. MDZ and Med were a pairing when Streit was out. It is strange Manning now goes in for MDZ. As I said, I think 4 forwards would be better with Laughton in. Chief used Laughton at times and he has a good skill set for it with a snipe shot and quick feet. I don't get why not.

i hear you, Laughton can play get umberger off his line. To umbergers credit he has looked quick tonight, but the guy couldn't bury a gift from God himself.
