Milbury exchange with Jonesy on Vinny.

Milbury claims he was awful in Philly and the end in Tampa, which he was. Jonesy claims he wasn't given a fair chance in Philly.

Then Milbury claims Vinny has found the fountain of youth. Jonesy is less enthusiastic, but saying he slots in well where he can be "a guy."

Milbury actually said something half right. I applaud him for this rare occurrence.

He's looked really good tonight. This might be the best game he's played as a King

He got rocked just a few seconds before...I'm not even sure he realized what he was doing. There's another video shows him on bench, he looks like he's having trouble focusing.

Man, the Flyers screwed up big time trading him. This is the kind of mistake that costs a GM his job

Fire Hextall and Hakstol. Name Boucher GM and Umberger coach.

Umberger did have a good game tonight. Blew two stellar scoring chances, but was did a solid job.

Like I said earlier, playing like this 8-9 min a night with VDV and PEB -- no problem. I just don't get why they have to play third line while RJ is shackled to Laughton like Tony Curtis and Sidney Poitier in The Defiant Ones. Open that line up, allow RJ to play 12th forward where the 12th forward actually belongs -- with fourth liners. But given that White scored a gimmee, he's not getting scratched.

that may be his saving grace cause it sure as hell looked intentional. he drove into the linesman when he saw him. so bizarre

I wonder what the lineup will look like when Coots slots back in....I thought Gagner had a pretty bleh game, with the third goal seriously helped by his lazy backcheck. I thought he really didn't do much offensively besides that one net play to Umby, then the bounce back. He had good possession numbers, best on team oddly enough, but he just seemed invisible. I think it was Laughts who was really driving that line tonight along with one of the better Umberger games.

I still like Laughton at LW idea best next to Coots. Then maybe Read-Weal-Raffl. Or keep him center and Raffl-Laughton-Weal. Or Read-Laughton-Weal. Of course no one but Gagner is getting scratched so it will just be same old same old. Read-Laughton-Umberger. Answered my own question I guess.

It is what it is.

Admittedly, I don't know if Weal or any of the other options are better. I just know that the play they're getting most nights isn't good enough.

But they're competitive overall, and that's what I hoped for this season. Wasn't expecting playoffs, but they still have an outside chance to sneak in. Just stay in the hunt and I can live with it

My understanding is that it's Colin Campbell's call. It's going to be an interesting one. Wideman is still in the game, so who knows?

My guess is, it'll be the same. Gagner & Weal might get the odd game here and there, at least until Hextall starts selling(assuming they stay on the outside of the playoff picture).

I guess that's fine. I'm not going to bother getting upset about it anymore. Just hear poop about scapegoats from the peanut gallery, and that's already tiresome. Eventually we'll see Weal, Cousins and/or Straka

I want to listen to a game with the Pens PxP, Milbury color commentating and Roenick inside the glass.

Then I will know what hell is like, and it will inspire me to be good for the rest of my days and give up my terrible habit of disembowling drifters.

If White and Gagner could be dealt that'd be ideal for the forwards.

I don't mind White, he would be an ok 12-13th forward, 8 min a night, play vs feisty teams, would be happy to never see him PK again though

I'd like to see Gagner and Schultz gone, Amac picks up Schultz's minutes until the kids are ready

I'd keep Streit unless he turns into a 1st rd pick

no idea about Medvedev. I kind of like him but the Flyers don't seem to

I don't mind 12/13 White. I mind top 9 White getting valuable PK time on an atrocious PK. So, agreed. I'd like him traded more so to open a roster spot that he apparently has locked down indefinitely.

I agree on Gagner and Schultz. Same with Streit. I have a hunch he's kept until next year's deadline, if he's traded at all. If someone wants to overpay now...sure.

Medvedev frustrates me. I've been a big supporter since the preseason, and he has tremendous skills. He just must drive the coaching staff crazy with his ugly turnovers and soft coverage. He can be the slickest guy one game, and horrendous the next. To be fair, he's had prolonged stretches of success. Lately he's been on a stretch of Mr. Hyde-vedev. I think a pairing of Ghost-Med just was not going to work given they share the same d zone weaknesses. If he can get paired with someone responsible, I still think he has something to offer. The small ice does take getting used to, especially at his age. Early on the talk was of resigning him. That's probably done, but if a contender wants him, trade him. I have a hunch he could find another level yet if given some trust and ice time.

So only myself and Keith Jones feel believe Vinny wasn't given a fair shake?
