I love Ryan White. He's not perfect but he's gritty, tough, works hard and oddly enough better offensively then his "More talented" linemates.

I want to listen to a game with the Pens PxP, Milbury color commentating and Roenick inside the glass.

Then I will know what hell is like, and it will inspire me to be good for the rest of my days and give up my terrible habit of disembowling drifters.

I'd be fine with VDV and PEB if they were a true 4th line. Frustrating to me that this line has becom the 3rd line.

Great effort last night! For those who still think that Giroux and Voracek aren't elite players, please go see a surgeon. You need to have your head removed from your ass. Now comes the big test: can they avoid stumbling out of the block after the break?

Not to mention their first game after the break is against Montreal who have been one of the worst teams in the NHL since their 9-0 start. This Flyers team must learn to bring it every game and get that first win after the break

oh goodie he had one good chance. hey if you rather see the likes of slugs like Umberger and gagner on a regular basis have at it. I rather see more speed in the lineup and can you say they wouldn't have been in a better position? can you say Weal wouldn't have buried one of the scoring chances Umberger put into Holtby?
- nastyflyergirl

It doesn't have anything to do with what I want to see. I just don't see the need for continual complaining about it. I don't have a problem if Weal plays, or doesn't play. I can't say that he is better than Gagner. Can you? Umberger played fine last night. Hey, the Flyers won!

Umberger moved his feet last night. Thats what happened. He still had 2 point blank chances that he needs to bury and couldnt.

If people wanna complain about Umberger, why shouldnt they be able to? The guy hasnt scored in a year, really offers nothing offensively, isnt really that great elsewhere in the line up, has a 4.5 mil price tag... Thats why he "dominates" the talk here.

Giroux is elite. I'm sorry but Voracek is debatable. He struggled prior to his first goal of the night. Elite players can score regularly.

They certainly can do what they want, but I just don't see the value of Umberger dominating the conversation day after day, after day. Everyone knows that the Flyers need to upgrade their forward depth, and that it's a team issue. Right now, there isn't a lot that can be done with it. The coach doesn't have a lot of options. The coach keeps playing him, even though his offensive production is nil, because he plays decently away from the puck, and in puck battles, and generally handles the puck well.
