The flyers currently have 5 guys on the current roster under contract for the 17-18 season (granted 4 more are RFAs after this season and could get a multi yr contract after this yr) including no goalies.

If he wants to play, I'd guess he does a mutual termination and does another deal. Either way, he wasn't in the Flyers' plans going forward, so even the $2.25M savings is very nice.

I know he is injured. If you saw the Penguins game, he got up very slowly after one of the goals he allowed. You could tell something wasn't right. The way the Flyers handle injuries make them look like stooges.

See that's where you're wrong. Mikey Miss does not talk about hockey. Despite his station broadcasting the games, he still doesn't give them the time of day.

As bad as Josh Innes can be, I would rather listen to him yell his point for 4 hours then listen to that condescending yoyo on 97.5. He just rubs me the wrong way.
