This is straight homerism, We win the lottery and McDavid is better than Eichel and we never think about it twice.

McDavid will be a star in this league. He was on a PPG pace entering this league. He too will gain muscle. its not like Eichel is going to grow and McDavid is gona be like "Meh im good, no need to get better"

Where did i say that Eichel is better than McDavid? I know that reading thing can be difficult for some. I said he is stronger which he is... and it isnt even close. McDavid is a speedster with finish. Eichel is powerful. McDavid did 1 pullup. ONE. Again, O-N-E. My 2 year old son can do more than one pullup. I said nothing about playing hockey i said Eichel is stronger and will have 15-20lbs on McDavid when they are done growing which is 100% correct.

Ovechkin was "stronger" than Crosby coming out of the gate. Until this year, Crosby has been seen as the better player. Part of it has to do with the fact that Crosby is a center while Ovechkin is a winger, and this year, Ovechkin seems to have the better team around him for once.

What's going to define these guys long term is their performance when it really matters, playoffs and eventually championships. We're not going to see that out of either player this year.

Last couple times I've gone home I've driven straight through now. Not nearly as long as you, but I also apparently don't drive as crazy-fast as you.

Edit: nm, google maps says 15+ hours for you, so I guess it's not fast.

Maybe, but we did learn Bennett had a shoulder injury...hard to do a pull-up with one good shoulder.
I'm not knocking McDavid, to do so would be pure Tomfoolery.

My daughter came home from an optional term at college. 735 miles in 13 hours 15 minutes.

5 cups of coffee; one bag of grapes; one bag of caramel chocolate popcorn (the wife's idea); an apple, and three balogna and mustard sandwiches (eggsalad and chicken salad go bad).

One of those cups of coffee was in a donut shop while I waited for my daughter to finish getting ready (I left ROC a lot earlier than I thought I would). That added about 25 minutes to my day.

I am an hour south of the j'ville airport, and my folks are 45 minutes north of the buffalo airport, almost on lake ontario

my next door neighbor finally met my shepherd pup yesterday

Looks to me like he sees "somebody" at the last minute and pops that person without knowing - or caring - who it is.

The hit is not an accident. The hit "on a linesman" is. I'd sit him one game to reinforce the need to stay alert around the neutrals.

I do not buy hitting the official was an accident at all or that he didn't know it was an official.

If I am the league, I sit him for a very, very long time.

Rule book says 20 games. I would enforce that.

At some point, the nonsense has to stop.
