Not a fan of # 22.
42 is a load of BS, too.

Oh ya been there.

I doubt he even gets suspended...now if that was Burrows or Edler Gary and his merry band of idiots would have a field day with it...

I don't think he was looking at the linesman. He was looking at the bench trying to get there after having his head hit into the boards.
What reason would be have for cross checking the linesman? He didn't even stop to help him up or say sorry. He was totally out of it and needed to get to the bench.

He was looking right at the linesman. And he was not looking to avoid contact as he raised the arm and cross checked. Cal cant use the "he was dazed after being hit in the boards head first" as this would mean that they violated the concussion protocol. This was a clear shot taken in retaliation after being drilled and not getting a call. NHL is in a tough spot here with 2 incidents happening yesterday. Lucic punch and Wideman cross check. Hopefully NHL mistakes the C in Calgary for the C in Canucks and Wideman gets 20-30 games.
This will mean they will be in the market for a D. We have a few that we can sell.

The Canucks are in a good drafting position in the standings today, which means it's a perfect time to take a look at tonight's Top Prospects Game, going down at the Pacific Coliseum:
