Feck, I'd kill for Ontario winters. I'm in the Martimes, thus, having no sweet clue what a Miata is/was

Oh! then as a Maritimer you know what a Miata is, "Me Auta get my ass to the EI office"

Yeah I have the same feeling with the word flan

The Chevy Flan. Sounds like a hatchback, I'd probably drive it.

I still think the leafs are weak up the middle, but probably because I don't think much of bozak (even though he is doing well offensively this year) or the idea of marner/nylander playing up the middle in the NHL as well as Kadri. I'd sell Bozak high this TDL if I was Shanny. Need a defenisve center on that team that can play top 2. Kadri is pretty darn good two-ways this year, but I think you need a shut-down guy.

Agreed. It's gonna be a interesting few years. I like the new direction. So different to past regimes. Marlies plugging along. Some intriguing prospects in Brown, Johnson, Nylander, Marner, Kapanen, Dermott, Loov, Timashov, Nielson and Soshnikov. Hopefully add in Zaitsev, a top 5 pick, a top 20 pick (through the Kessel deal) and about 15 4th and 5th round picks from the deadline and we'd start to resemble a crèche next year

Yeah very jealous of the first rounder from Pitt, they may not even make the dance!
Hoping we can put together a package and get a contender like Dallas' 1st

If we're talking dream scenarios why not target a bubble team? If I was Benning I would be taking Bergeven out for dinner tonight, buying him a couple of fancy cocktails and asking him, "so, how can I help get you into the playoffs?"

I was actually done at 1:10pm today and they told me to go home I said well there's probably other things I can do for tomorrow, they said nope, then I'd have to put in for overtime at time and a half lol. No wonder there's no money for our seniors!

Yeah, and the fact that most employers have to offer crazy salary just to get qualified people to live in that deep freeze.

Also, they usually offer several flights out per year. I've been offered jobs there as have some of my friends. A few of them took them and made huge cash.

Never been a John Scott fan, but this is one hell of a read. Good for him.

Name me a rusky #1 d-man. Ever. Markov? Only one I can think of and he's questionable.

Edit: I'm not trying to go full Don Cherry here, but I sure would like Canucks to continue to draft Canadians

Logan Brown looks very solid. 6'6 centre good speed centre. Hard to move off the puck . Looks to go around the twenty spot.

So did Kovalchuk for a good portion of their STCF's run . Provorov might be one day, I liked him as a prospect last year and he may pan out.
