Skjei will replace Yandle (lefty)

McIlrath will replace Boyle (righty)

this isn't rocket science

I'm good with that.

Crazy how much Nash is underated by our fans. I swear its worse than Girardi
- mdw7413

No chance. Girardi is the reason why we don't have a cure to terrible diseases world wide, so I'm told.

personally I would be pretty pissed to see mcilrath get dealt for Drouin. He is on the cusp of being an everyday player for this team and after all hes been through he gets dealt now?? We need these ELC's on our blueline

Maybe but I trust Corey Pronman's opinion
- airjan23

Pronman is good and worked at credible hockey outlets like Hockey Prospectus before ESPN. But he is one person and no individual person is going to have a more accurate opinion on prospects than collective rankings.

I agree, but I would do still do it

Drouin is our only shot at getting a franchise forward because we'll never ever pick at the top of a draft

How sad were the 80s when women were falling at the feet of dudes named Kip Winger and Jani Lane?

The thing that worries me about Drouin isn't his skill. It's his ego. Also Allan Walsh is his agent.

how sad am I that in 1989 I had a poster of Jani Lane (and the rest of Warrant) on my bedroom wall?

Drouin looks more like Daigle 2.0 than Patrick Kane.

It takes more than elite talent to be an elite player in the NHL. I understand the intrigue, as I flip flop on this Drouin issue almost daily, but at day's end the Rangers are not in a position to lose out on this potential trade.

I can't lie, I liked the song Fly High Michelle when it was released in 1989.

I knew that. But I don't think Walsh cares to much about Brassard. He's not one of his high profile client. Drouin is only profile because of his draft slot selection at this point. Subject to change in the future.

I have an extremely difficult time imagining that.
