He's regarded as what he is, a pretty decent prospect that is very close to NHL ready. Reason that you haven't seen him is because of the emergence of Trevor Van Riemsdyk and Erik Gustafsson, and the fact that they don't want a third rookie playing on the backend. I believe they are open to adding him to a package that would acquire a 1LW though. |

I'll save you the trouble. He was the main piece going the other way in the Nick Leddy trade. He has decent numbers in his 2nd full season in the AHL. With the Hawks' defensive depth being a chronic issue for them (hence Keith playing about 40 minutes a game in the playoffs), I was wondering if he was close to getting a shot with the big club. |
