Cause cancer. There is another fairy tale. . It scares the poop out of me . My father did not drink , smoke or do anything bad for him . It took him and both his brothers at 67 . Also took both his parents around the same age . They were all clean living folks. It is in your genes . Only a matter of when it manifests itself.
You take yourself far too seriously sometimes . You are still a pup . I envy your your vim and viger . But you don't know nothing yet . I was the same way at your age. But life teaches you lots of lessons you have not had yet,. - Maximum Signal
Nowadays we put so much crap in our bodies, both food and medication that I am not sure we'll ever have a complete handle on what causes what. Genetics is a factor too.

You do understand that's basically what I'm telling you I'm saying that they're saying these things cause cancer which I don't believe they don't when people back in the day used to eat that stuff and they're fine . They're basically trying to scare you and its dumb - gerbe75pts
Yes, but it's the processed food we eat now. News flash: food isn't supposed to be able to sit on a shelf for a year and still be edible unless it's canned. Also beef isn't supposed to be bright red either, it's brown. The average chicken's weight has increased 400% in the past 50 years. It's not the food it's all the bullpoop they put in the food. |

The rampant use of antibiotics in livestock is pretty terrifying too. They put that poop in the feed. They raise the animals in such unsanitary conditions to be able to meet demand that they're forced to use antibiotics in the feed. But none of it has been tested on humans on a long term ingestion basis. Still, I love me some steak and chicken. It's just a little worrying about the effect this has on our overall health. |

People hate bettman because he doesn't acknowledge that there is a issue with low scoring in this league. Lets all be honest here... The NHL the past couple years has become less entertaining. We all love goals. Its what makes the game exciting. When you have a guy like him not seeing this? That's an issue. |

Also so happy for John Scott. Seriously this weekend couldn't have gone any better for him. I hope he sees some NHL time at some point with the Canadians. They stink anyways |

What is sad is the hockey was so great to watch after the lockout in 2005. But Bettman caved to Schnider in Philly and let that crappy clutch and grab style back. If they would have stuck to policing that crap there would be a lot more scoring.

I think Murray has set it up perfectly, He has Lehner for at least three more years, That gives Peterson time to develop his game at either ND or Rochester, same for Jonas Johansson, play a couple seasons in the Swedish Elite league and then come over to North America. Jason Kasdorf could force his way into the equation if he keeps playing like he is this year. The Sabres might not have to resign Johnson if Ullmark or Kasdorf prove they can be competent backups to Lehner and then when it's time to resign Lehner they could move him if any of the 4 prospects show that they are ready to be the #1 man.
Forward thinking is a beautiful thing. - macman9
Idk why everyone thinks Kasdorf is doing so well
Yeah, his stats look good... But he's a Senior on a good team
His backup is a Freshman that actually looks more promising IMO
Cam Hackett Fr 10g 6-2-2 2.34 .933
I don't think Kasdorf is bad, but he's gonna have to prove himself in the AHL
Doubt he ever even plays for Buffalo

I guess I missed the fun, I only saw the last game. And aside from some pretty spectacular goaltending there weren't very many good plays. I watch for great plays, tic tac toe passing for a goal. That was just brutal. Not much flow. Luongo was the stand out in the game and you just don't say that in an all-star game. I'll give them that it was more competitive than most years, but it just didn't do it for me. I probably would've liked the second game with the 9-6 score, but alas, I wasn't home
I really hope most of the players donate their $90,000 share, except Scott, he can keep it seeing as that represents like 15% of his salary. Corey Perry makes more than that in a single game, and that would buy a lot of good will. |

It's not really a big deal if he doesn't. Goalie looks to be set for the next few years at least unless Ullmark and Lehner just totally poop the bed. Then we're in trouble, but I don't see both of them sucking. |

Not saying it is a big deal
But some on here are talking like Kasdorf might be a backup for us as early as next year
He might not even be Rochester's backup next year...
I was just trying to point out to ppl that Kasdorf isn't doing anything all that great
As far as Lehnet & Ullmark go...
VERY small sample size
Let's see how the rest of this year goes
Looks good so far, but neither are a sure thing

I really enjoyed it as well. I think the 3 on 3 format is perfect for this event. It really allows the fans to see the skill level of the guys participating. |

Honestly, the NHL games were very entertaining. I really enjoyed them. I watched maybe like 20 minutes of the Pro Bowl, but only because it was between games for the NHL. |
