No matter what way you slice it, using him to point out that you feel the All Star game is a joke, is making him a joke as well. If you don't understand that, then there's a lot of learning you have to do still.

Were your intentions necessarily bad? No. But the hurt he had to go through when the league asked him not to participate and all of that is very real and that's the part that I have a problem with. He's a real guy, with a real family, and real emotions. How would you like to be the person in that position? It's not a good place to be.

Sometimes you can get current assets for current assets. I'm hoping Murray finds a way to do this - younger guys already in the league (but not necessarily established) for older guys who may be able to help contenders with their playoff push.

The difficulty is that we don't have many of those older guys who can really help, and whose contracts are unencumbered by NMC or NTC.

We have as many regulation wins as Jersey and Detroit, and more than Calgary, Couver, CBus, Laffs, Flyers and Edmonton.
If the 3point system per game were in place we'd be in a playoff spot, or at leadt real close.

Gmtm knows scouting, so we should sell, but maybe get some good prospects back vs. more late-round draft picks, which we already have a lot of.
