Part of why I tend to warn first. If I missed the wider context, my bad. |

That's what she says,
but usually ends in
"Too Bad"
not
"my bad"

He'd be good to keep around for a few more years as a 3rd pairing 7th defenseman. But I still think he can garner a 2nd(essentially a 3rd) from a team that has injuries or injury concerns to their defense. Teams can't expect to do what Chicago did last year and play 4 defense throughout the whole playoffs with one guy playing 34 minutes a night. Chicago themselves couldn't do it again. I said it a week or so ago would you trade a 2nd round pick for Mike Weber in 05-06 knowing that the only reason you lost that series against Carolina is because you had Nathan Paetsch, Doug Janik, Jeff Jillson and Rory Fitzpatrick playing in place of Jay McKee and Henrik Tallinder? We had 2 NHL defensemen in that game 7. Brian Campbell and Toni Lydman. Tell me you wouldn't rather have Mike Weber for the last pick in the 2nd round than any of the 4 I mentioned? - Wetbandit1
Don't see any reason why we can't re-sign Weber
I don't think there will be huge demand for him.
Plus, he loves it here & sees firsthand how we are improving throughout the year
Idk that he'd automatically choose us,
but I'm sure we'd be a serious consideration

I will admit he's played good recently, but we have seen him do this plenty of times, and then go back to being unwatchable. Trade him at the deadline and never look back. |

True
I wouldn't mind him back for say 3yrs as a 6/7 guy
If we keep him in that role o think he'll be just fine
And if he's on the 3rd pair with Pysyk, I'd say that's a good match
He & Franson together would make me nervous, although Franson hasn't been too bad this year either |

His best work comes on the bottom pair. You can plug AHL call ups and cheap UFA's in there for far less. |

I've been saying this forever. As long as they don't get crazy with his ice time and play him 14 minutes or less, and not against the opposing teams top guys, and he's a good defenseman. Anything over that and it's not pretty. |

Just watched X-Files. That was a strange episode, even for that show. It was great, don't get me wrong, the guest stars were awesome I don't want to ruin it, just very strange. |

I guess Ennis isn't even at week to week yet?
I’d like to move him closer to week-to-week right now, but it’s not possible. - Dan Bylsma
That doesn't bode well for a trade, unless there's a Kane type deal where the team that wants him doesn't care about this year. |

I'd rather have him on this team, dress him 2 out of ten games and keep him with the big club for locker room than have moulson right now |

This article more or less summed it up for me. Some like to think there was malicious intent when voting Scott into the all star game, but for myself, it was to make sure I let the NHL know I'm not pleased with their typical bullpoop.
"We push back in any way we can. That's why booing Gary Bettman at marquee league events is a responsibility taken personally by hockey fans in all cities. That's why we vote John Scott into the All-Star Game -- because we want the fun and uniqueness that the NHL establishment so often tries to suppress, and we want to watch them squirm a bit while we take that back from them." |

That's not the quote that the Buffalo News has.
From http://www.buffalonews.co...ork-will-pay-off-20160202
“He is working out daily,” Bylsma said. “He is progressing, but it’s not imminent for him to get on the ice. I’d like to move him closer than week-to-week right now, but it’s not possible.” |

I watched the hit by Ovi on him over and over and over in slo mo looking to see if Ennis hit his head, shoulder ..etc. From what I can see , Ovi slams him in the back just below the shoulder blade. Possible broken rib ? Ennis went down but that was the only contact that could have caused injury. |
