I don't pay much attention to this. It was a half season. Jake was one of half the players in the league who went over seas and kept up on his game. Others stayed home and did nothing. We didn't even have a training camp. Not exactly tough competition from everyone around the league.

He's having a pretty good year. He keeps it up its a 45-50 pt year. Resign him but don't break the bank. He's not an untouchable in trade. I don't see him as a foundation piece. But he is proving to be a valuable piece

I keep trying to convince myself it was a good deal but I think I'm jumping ship. I think it might have been the first opportunity Hexy had to clear cap space and may have panicked a bit when he actually realized what kind of cap situation Homer left him with. Nobody could have predicted he would have been able to move Pronger's contract or trade Vinny, or any of the other moves he made. But to be fair, we can't really judge the deal 100% for another few years.

Lol. I haven't been there in a while. My friends and I have all moved away. In high school, I worked at a diner across the street though

I liked that they played with some emotion last night and overcame some difficult officiating, but if they were playing a less snakebitten team the discipline probably would've come back to bite them.

Voracek has scored points at a higher rate over his career than Brayden Schenn. Voracek has done it far more consistently than Schenn and it's really not that close.

I'm far more willing to give him the benefit of the doubt than Brayden Schenn.

I wouldn't be surprised if Schenn is traded, signs long term or signs short term. His underlying numbers have never been as good as his point totals. He's good on the power play, but only has 16 ES points in 46 games this season.

Simmonds only has 19 and has played two more games. The Flyers don't score a lot at ES.
