Should I go to the Sabres game? 45 bucks a ticket faceoff dot on side we shoot twice 100 level ticket. Risk Sabres lose just blew 45 plus beer/food. Reward watch the Sabres beat the Bruins.
Or go play poker 20 bucks a buy in but we usually buy in twice so 40 bucks total. Risk of doing this is lose 40 and Sabres win. or Reward I win money. - bluengold12

He does. But, at times he allows it to get in the way. He's conscious of it. He's tried to make sure he doesn't get too carried away, but it is something that can also be a hindrance for him at times. - HonkFortheGoose
yes i remember teams running and hacking at hasek trying to get him off his game.. it worked a few times, such as him throwing his blocker at a player..
Anyone putting money on the game Sunday? Trying to decide whether to do the spread for the Panthers. It's at -6 right now. I'm leaning towards a blowout by the Panthers but I thought the Patriots would destroy the Broncos so now I don't know
Poker. Sabres coming off a back to back, against Boston who is good on the road, we're bad at home, and they're playing Rask.
I thought about going to Boston Saturday for the game but the cheapest seats are 90 bucks on Stub Hub. That's the only thing about being good, the ticket prices on the secondary market are going to skyrocket again - Zschalberg
I am thinking hard about going to tampa on the 14th to watch the bolts play the blues

Hm.... I didn't realize Boston's record away was 15-5-3
I'm not very good at poker either but it is relaxing. Tough call..

i just hope Peyton doesn't have another epic failure like his last superbowl

Went to Tampa when I was at college in Daytona. Pretty nice arena but the fans that were near me didn't understand what was going on. They were cheering icings. And not just like "good call", like screaming and cheering. It was so odd.
Also drove the wrong way on a one way bridge getting to the arena but that's a different story.

That was the most boring one I've ever watched. I remember I was working at Lasertron and was trying to get out as fast as possible and by the time I did Peyton had already basically given the game away.
That said, if that happened this year and I did put my money down I'd be good with it.

Either way, for $50 bucks you're entertained for an evening and get to hangout with friends. Flip a coin, you're a winner.

Yes, we may never know, but like I mentioned, didn't Edmonton and Carolina already make their deals for Talbot and (I forget, the goalie from Van) to solve their goalie issues by the time Buffalo and Ottawa struck the Lehner trade? - sskkoo1
No, I think those deals were done after the fact, at the draft.

Yes, I have a young child. I can honestly say I have never uttered a swear word in her prescence, but it was real close the last 2 years of watching Sabres hockey before this year.

Visiting a buddy in Boston and i'm going Saturday *frank* the ticket$ were outrageous - yen6d1
I went to Boston for a game probably 8 years ago or so now. Got heckled by a 12 year old. The people at the game were very rude. They also wouldn't let anyone under with an out of state license that was under 25 buy beer.

ha... so did I... eight years ago. And got heckled by a kid who in all likelihood could have been 12. Did we get shellacked like 5-2 or something?
