OEL is upset the refs swallowed their whistles on the game winner.

That's rich...

Since the refs kept 'em in the game and gave 'em their one point.

Bit 'o justice in the end.

Any comment on the no-call slash by Panarin at the end?
- StLBravesFan

To me, this is payback for the BS no goal from Hossa earlier, all's well that ends well.

it was a hockey play.
But, if the game was called correctly, it never should have gotten to OT, so it was the even-up.

Refs Cowards. Should have been a penalty.

Glad the Hawks got 2 points .

Over the course of a season all this call no call gets evened out.

Last 2 games Hawks with 82 SOG and opponents only with 53. Good trend to begin the post all star playoff push

Great game tonight...and despite the garbage officiating Hawks pull it out.

Real edge to this one. And Toews wins it after the bogus Hossa non goal...

Stars up next...

Toews earned EVERY PENNY of his $128,000 that he made tonight. Crow amazing response after the Doan goal. Honestly, I think Panarin will be a 70 point player every year. The guy is just filthy. Very entertaining game and great to see 19 & 81 dominating like 88 & 72 do every night.

And as for the strength up the middle for the Hawks, its gotta start paying off at the dot more. We've taken a step back in face offs this year and were destroyed there again tonight. This MUST improve going forward.

Toews-Anisimov-Danault as the top 3 Centers is outstanding for the next few years. It's crazy to think the lack of Center depth we've had. Cannot understate the impact of 15 on this team. He is a perfect fit and Danault looks to be a great 3C in the making...

Short of his face-offs, Anisimov had himself another great game, including in OT. He does so many things well, and is VERY strong on the puck. Twice he saved 2 on 1's during OT with his strength and savvy. Again I will say this...if I had a choice between Saad or Anisimov (based on this season), I would take Anisimov...heck of a hockey player.

As for all the goals the Hawks have had waived off this season, Stan is going to have to get a tape on the "Hossa call" tonight and set off for NY to get things straightened out. This is a startling consistency AGAINST the Hawks this season. Sometimes it helps to apply pressure in the league office because something is not right.

72 will have a hand in ending this one....he is due after the chances he has had...

- bogiedoc

Despite not scoring I liked what I saw from him. I talked to him after the Avs game and told him that he goes glove side A LOT on breakaways and that he should change it up a bit to keep goalies guessing. Evidently he listened because he went stick side tonight that's a VERY positive sign.

Yep, this is the "finished product" Corey Crawford. Q wanted him to become a "flatliner" for the Hawks, and he has done that. In the past that 4th goal might have got his mind to wandering, but not this CC...he was outstanding in OT and we get the much deserved win!

What a fitting ending to a wonderfully officiated game.

Always amazed at how good OEL is at getting the puck through traffic on net, time and time and time again. His defense is average but one of the best getting the puck to the net.

It was a clear shove and a goal on the ice. If the call on the ice was no goal and a challenge by Q for a good goal then I would understand. To reverse that good goal on the ice with a CLEAR shove from Dahlbeck is beyond questionable

It was a slash that got let go, just like the refs let Hanzal's interference go when he grabbed AA's stick as he was trying to getting back, leading to a 2 on 1 a bit earlier in OT. Poorly officiated game overall, glad for the 2 pts.

He scored for the Coyotes on the PP and had a few mishandles but his speed was evident. Bowman REALLY wants him.

once again a well worn cliche is applicable: good teams find ways to win games like and bad teams find ways to lose them...

toews 1on 1 along the boards 3 on 3 is a beast...my o my...

the nhl better go find some real nhl officials fast....across the league, game after game...blown calls, bad calls, phatom calls, awful reversals....

AHLer +2nd is all I would pay. He has nice skills and would complement 19-81 well, but he isn't an all-world player. Very good player on a mediocre to bad team, playing against a great team....

Hawks didn't do so well at the dot tonight...but I just tried to look at the new NHL.com for some info and well...trainwreck (thanks again Bettman)

Thought Danault looked real good tonight, Hoss should have had 2 tonight. BS.
