Nope. Little Scoob did not like him.
I hate toys! And toys hate me! Either they are going or I am going and I definitely am not going!
Toys are hereby declared illegal, immoral, unlawful AND anyone found with a toy in his possession will be placed under arrest and thrown in the dungeon. No kidding! - Scoob

I'd wait till the draft now and see what these guys do. Simmonds probably isn't in longterm plans but neither was hartnell. - JoeRussomanno
would the Panthers do Ekblad and a #1? |

They wouldn't do Ekblad straight up. |

Wasn't quite as dominant as the score indicated. Preds doubled them up in shots. Of course spotting them 7 PP'S doesn't help.
Surprising to me those times in the past Schenn was with G and Jake and you hardly noticed he was out there. Now with Couturier he's become such a more noticeable player (in a good way). Probably just adds that much more value to Couturier. - Pelle31Forever
I think Schenn likes to handle the puck more and he has that opportunity with Couturier. With Jake and G, they just tell him to "keep it simple and go to the net." He's good in front of the net, but thats not the only part of his game.
I think Couts also helps minimize his defensive deficiencies better than G and Jake do. |

I like Schenn with Couturier.
If they add a playmaker to that line I think you'll really see them produce. Maybe Konecny can fill that void if he can play the left side. |

I don't think we need to trade for any young defensemen with the pipeline loaded up. I'd rather look for help up front |

Can someone explain why Simmonds doesn't fit our long term plans? He's debately our best most all-rounded player. And he is 100% our most clutch player. |

Long term like 10 years obviously.
Mason, G, and Jake aren't in their long term plans either |

I'd also trade him for Vladimir Tarasenko and/or Drew Doughty...but it's not gonna happen. |

I'm fine with Raffl or Read on a line with them. Couturier and Schenn have always shown good chemistry together. |

Clearly, none of Morin, Sanheim, Ghost, or Provorov are in their plans for the next 30+ years. |

You need a guy like Sam Gagner to get completely levelled by a defender to open the path for them. |
