I wouldn't complain either. I certainly didn't get to upset when Kovy "retired" knowing what that contract would have done to the Devils in their later years. Just shows how much the cap era is a joke, whether you are talking about Pronger, Kovy, burying guys like Redden in the AHL or the fact that every lockout the owners get a few do overs to correct some mistakes.

Think about the NHLPA. They are going to go apepoop when some of these recaptures start kicking in and there is so much dead cap space in the league.
