Maybe, Mogilny but I doubt that. Retiring numbers should be for truly great players, not just guys who were good on a team that couldn't afford any better. Miller had a few good years here, but his career hasn't been all that special, and Danny only spent three seasons with us. It seems like more, but we were just a pit stop in his career. I honestly don't understand why we have Tim Horton's #2 retired. Great player, sure, but if I recall correctly I think he was only with us less than two years when he died.

I don't think he should have his number retired either and I really like the guy, but you do realize he holds the Sabres record for games and wins and the single season records for games, minutes and wins? He doesn't get nearly enough credit for what he did here.

The Bruins announcer is a vile joke of a man and should never be able to call a sporting event let alone watch hockey. He's a Boston meat head through and through.

It is a Buffalo thing. If the Bills or Sabres ever win a championship people will complain that it wasn't a big enough margin of victory, or they got lucky, or so-and-so could've played better/scored more/stopped more shots. It gets old after a while. If people don't like it they should stop watching and going to games, like I did with the Bills.
