Pretty sure you're right, as I was a little lost as to why the constant Bud talk in regards to Manning (I didn't watch the post-game press conferences, turned it off after hearing him avoid saying he was done). - stashu

It's the Kane trade all over again... Trade for a player that can't play for awhile.
And then female dog about that trade until Hell freezes over. - jochfr

I don't care about Peyton and Budweiser I care about the Bills losing one of their best players to something so stupid..... The day after the superbowl where the superbowl MVP was picked one pick away from Buffalo and the MVP was picked two away. If anyone doesn't believe in curses all ready you can start looking into it now... It's like the football gods are trolling now and not even caring. |

No just sick and tired of the bills getting crapped on. It seems every year there's something different going on Players won't buy into the system, star RB decides to get into a fight with of all people off duty policemen over a bottle of champagne, Losing their DC every other year, no QB for ten plus years. Then to top it off the two guys picked ahead of the Bills when they had a real opportunity to draft a star picking 3rd - The two guys are the supwerbowl MVP and the league MVP. It's ridiculous. |

First, thanks for understanding and not taking offense to the "joke"
Second, that's not getting crapped on, that's the team's own fault. Though I guess you did say curse rather than "fix", so at least it wasn't too tinfoil-y. |

To be fair, Dareus is a star. |

Quick hockey post: for all the good stuff we said about him in the first half of the season, O'Reilly is having a pretty significant goal drought. 11 games to this point. Hasn't been great defensively in that time either. Something like a -10 in that span. |

Dareus is a star but correct me if I'm wrong but a DT doesn't make or break a team in terms of a superbowl all star like a LB or a DE or a QB or an RB can. The best DT in the league is generally just a run blocking guy who takes up two lineman so the DE or OLB can get to the QB. Watt, AJ Green and Julio Jones were taken after Dareus. I love Dareus but I'd take all three of those guys (maybe not Green) over him in hindsight. |

It's a curse not in terms of me believing in witches and warlocks but how could the Bills anticipate their RB doing this? Or their star players not meshing well with one of the best defensive minds in football. It's just ridiculous when so many bad things happen to one team you start to wonder. |

If you go back and read Pach's blog at the beginning of the month with the individual stats though, you'll see that he was on ice for quite a few empty net goals, which didn't help the cause any.
He's hit a rough patch. I wouldn't say he's playing poorly, but he's not producing very much right now either. It's probably just fatigue. I kind of wish he hadn't been at the All Star game. He could probably have used the time off. But there's not much we can do about it. |

IMO you can't really go wrong with any of them, that is an amazing top half of the draft.
I wanted AJ Green or Patrick Peterson badly that year. But I can't deny that Dareus has been top 3-5 at his position last few years. |

To play devils advocate... O'Riley is playing more minutes than any forward in the league. And placed in every big situation possible against the top line of every team. He is still younger than all the main NHL all stars and is learning to be the star of the team. datigue can be expected in his first year in a new role. Though I hope he gets it straightened out soon. |

He shouldn't be playing 21 minutes a game. He's not a great skater. |

Agreed. Cut his time a bit. Give him a normal amount of shifts and let the time that he is on the ice be higher quality.
Also of note, however, is that we've been playing okay even though he hasn't been scoring. We'll get there. |

Scoring is still an issue for the most part, but the secondary scoring has picked up a bit. It still needs to get better though, that's for sure. |
