I have an issue with them saying it's off duty police officers. What does their occupation have to do with it? If I got into some sort of altercation like this, I would just be considered a patron of the establishment it happened at. Not an off duty bank employee. I know it sounds stupid, but them not being at work is no different than it is for me to not be at work. We're both just citizens of US out at a club/bar having a good time. Period. - HonkFortheGoose
Because if a cop is involved no matter what they rally around them like an angry mob on a witch hunt. |

They made it abundantly clear that they were cops... Like yes we get it they were cops.. So what? They aren't special. - jochfr
Exactly. It shouldn't matter what they do for a living. They were just normal people out for the evening. I almost feel like they're saying they were targeted because they're cops or something. |

Gonna put this out here to everyone, in hopes of getting some assistance.
I've been planning to come up for the draft since last year, and there's still no info regarding tickets...
If anyone sees notice go out for tickets, can you please post here (PM also would be appreciated, but sharing with everyone is more beneficial)?
Planning on coming up no matter what, but really want to be at the arena (or even Harbor Center I guess if they open it up for it). |

I'd be stunned if you couldn't get tickets for reasonable price as close as a week before the event. I don't know this for sure but I can't imagine a draft selling out. |

Okay, then don't call them when you're in trouble if you are equal.
Edit -- take care of it yourself, you're equal to the police. |

All rumors are that Trouba will be moved. He is an RFA, so they do have a little leverage. I would not trade him unless they get fair value for him. |

That's a lot of lettuce for a defenseman that only excels in one end.
Paying for top players in free agency typically seems like a mistake.. Doesn't mean you get a bad player just not one that lives up to the cap hit.
Ex:
Statsny
Brad richards (rags contract)
Leino
Mike Green
bolland

Seems like a decent match, but I am sure TB wants more, like their 1st this year. I doubt Winnipeg wants another player similar to Kane though, so doubt they do that deal. |
