I agree but the two things against him are 1. It's been done to cops. Off duty or not they stick together and magnify every situation. 2. We live in a politically correct overly harsh landscape where if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time Goodell and his cronies will make you out to be the ringleader to appease their financial backers and sponsors.

I've been in many a brawls/rumbles ala the Sharks and the Jets back in the day.

As a matter of fact we(west siders) had a few with Cab's neck of the woods back in the day.
The last one I remember sitting in a white van slammin shots of Crown (By Rocmar) on a 5 degree snowy winter night.
Thankfully, they never showed that night, it was too cold to be "rumblin' ".

Does no one else think it is weird that they are in VIP popping bottles though? More than half my friends are cops and I know none of them could afford to be in VIP next to millionaires popping bottles of champagne.
