Yep. Nobody to fill in for a injured player. I would blame coaching on that. He is the one to keep the team together regardless of who he has to put on the ice.

What young prospects do we have? Two years ago this board was saying how great our defense will be in ten years. Myers,risto,zadorov and mcnabb. Three of them are gone. Regardless if our forward prospects we gave up were going to be good but compfer,armia,Lemieux,Grigorenko and a couple first round picks,all gone. All we have to show is Oreilly and kane..McGinn,lehner and Bogosian are not very good

Just read about Loui Eriksson's no trade. That's actually an interesting concept, his contract gives him a full NTC if the team makes the playoffs. Might be worth exploring with future UFA/RFA's

Everyone just needs to take a deep breath and count to 3 er 147. The swings on this board make me think everyone needs a some lithium. Everyone in the media had the Sabres finishing just ahead of Toronto basically across the board. Why is it such a surprise when they lay a few stinkers in a row? The goalie, yeah, he should've had a few of those, but he's getting no help whatsoever. These teams are passing across the ice at will, there's way too much standing around going on, no active sticks in passing lanes, and there's not a coach in the league that tells his guys "hey just stand there, it'll be fine.".
