HE IS INJURY PRONE

That is because Zemgus plays balls to the wall and leaves EVERYTHING he has on the ice every night. Just the EXACT type of player this team needs more of. We have ROR, Eichel, and Gus that I feel like do this EVERY night. We don't trade a guy like Girgnesons. That'll bite us in the ass 10 times out of 10.
even if the dude is a cry baby b1TCH.... I don't want the dude in our division... hearing that OTT and MTL are the 2 front runners for Drouin. - JVince11
I'd go all in on the kid
fills a hole
great set up player
I can see him setting up eichel, ror or skunk for many years

That's my point, not that he's a high valued player. You'll get more value for him in the lineup for 60 games a year than you will if you move him. Girgensons and a 3rd wont get you anyone who is capable of playing those top pair minutes with risto long term. - Sabresfan-365

and we need a top 6 lw - homiedclown
I would rather not trade the entire farm and picks for a baby back female dog like Drouin is being when guys like Matthews, Puljujarvi, Laine, and Tkachuk are ALL being labeled as better players than he is.
Drouin is no closer to being an every night NHL player then those rookies would be.
he also got concussed and missed 20 games or so in rochester
I like the kid
but if he is going to be buried on the 3rd line, package him for that d man we need - homiedclown
not sure who would give up a quality, top-two d-man for gus...not sure if they'd be interested in third-rounders either...didn't murray try to trade back up into the middle of the first round with all three of his seconds?

he is going to miss 1/4 of his games, based on his 3 season here and the season in rochester
ror missed less then 10% of his games to injury
some players are more fragile then others
after the connolly era, if it becomes a trend (injuries), I don't want them taking a chunk of our cap

I just don't see anything that makes me think he'd consider buffalo over Tampa or Toronto. Both on and off the ice. - Sabresfan-365
I think we're more desirable than the Leafs
And it just seems like his time in Tampa is coming to an end
Other teams will make a run at him though
Detroit? Boston?
Idk too many teams that wouldn't make an offer to him
I can't say he'd choose us,
But I'd definitely make an offer of 10mil per & see what he has to say

I like Girgs a lot. However the dude has 11 points in 45 games this year and has been banged up 2 or 3 times already.
Not sure you can count on him to be a core player long term.

I think they shut him down early last year on purpose so that he wasn't killing himself for garbage points late in the year.
Dude is tough as nails.. got nailed in the face with a slapper from Bogo earlier this year I think it was and came back and finished the game if I remember right.
I'm not trading that guy... and especially not with a 3rd for some imaginary top pairing defensemen that is not available on the market any way.

somebody suggested moving kane over to the right side and I really like that idea...target ladd this off season for left wing
