just saying if the only real reports are from Lavoie, its probably a safe bet there isnt much to it.

Yeah, he shouldn't smear PAP like that.

Staal is a pure rental player. Why on earth would Montreal trade for him, especially after Bergevin stated that he would not be acquiring any rental players this deadline?

Frankly, I don't hate the idea of the Habs getting him, but it does't make much sense for the Habs to trade for a declining player who will probably jet come the offseason.
